The MCTRL 4K
The MCTRL 4k is an LED display controller developed by Novastar. It is equipped with an ultra-large loading capacity in which a single unit has a loading capacity of 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz.
Also, it comes with many industry-leading technologies, including HDR, individual gamma adjustment for RGB, 3D, chroma calibration, pixel-level brightness, and low latency.
The MCTRL 4K LED screen controller is a robust, reliable, and stable product you can use. Also, it provides you with the ultimate visual clarity and experience and supports custom resolutions with a height or width of up to 7680 pixels.
Furthermore, it is a typical solution for XR LED screens, a newly introduced technology for film and movies; however, you can also apply it for rental and fixed installation uses.
The MCTRL 4K LED screen processor is certified with FCC, CE, EAC, UL&CUL, IC, CB, RCM, and KC. Certifications, such as the ones mentioned, may vary from country to country; therefore, if there are any required certifications before you can avail of the product, please get in touch with us immediately.
Features
The MCTRL 4K supports HDR10 and HLG and can compatibly work with receiving cards that also support HDR. These significantly enhance the image quality making it ultra-clear and with the best details.
The MCTRL 4K LED processor has the following input connectors; 1 DP1.2, 1 HDMI2.0, and 2 DL-DVI.
Each unit has 16 Neutrik Gigabit Ethernet ports and four optical ports. It also has a maximum output height and width of 7680 pixels. It also has high bit-depth inputs such as 8, 10, and 12. Here are also some things you can note;
- The DP/HDMI input has a maximum loading capacity of 8.8 million pixels.
- Its DVI input has a maximum loading capacity of 8.3 million pixels.
It can work with the 3D emitter EMT200 and 3D glasses. The 3D emitter and 3D glasses allow you to achieve 3D display effects on your device.
This function adjusts the red, green, and blue gammas to control the image effectively. It creates uniformity in low grayscale conditions and white balance offset. This results in more prominent and quality content or appearance. However, it only applies to 10-bit and 12-bit inputs.
This feature ensures that chroma and your device’s brightness are consistent. The calibration system removes brightness and chroma differences so the device can show up in a uniform visual.
The MCTRL 4K LED screen processor supports settings for ultra-high resolution using an NVIDIA graphics card. Also, the NVIDIA graphics card integrates AI technology and real-time functions.
Lower latency means minimal delay times. Hence, enabling low latency and the input source sync can significantly reduce the delay between the receiving card and the input source.
RGB limited to RGB full happens when the color range of the input source converts the function to display natural black in low grayscale images.
Cascading is connecting numerous units to perform a uniform function. The MCTRL 4K can be cascaded over up to 10 teams. So, if you have a massive screen for a big event, you don’t have to worry about graphics, refresh rate, and image clarity. Also, configuring screens, uploading, and you can do other functions on the web.
Functions & Limitations
Function | Limitations | Mutually Exclusive Function |
HDR | - It only supports 10-bit HDMI input sources.
- Works with the receiving cards that support HDR.
- The loading capacity of each Ethernet port is reduced by half.
| N/A |
3D | - The loading capacity of each Ethernet port is reduced by half.
- When the input source is DVI, DVI1 loads the images for the left eye, and DVI2 loads the images for the right eye.
- The 3D function is not supported when you enable the advanced screen configuration.
| Low Latency |
Low Latency | - It supports HDMI and DP input sources.
- Each Ethernet port must load cabinets vertically.
